I finished the Divergent series over a week ago, but it’s taken me awhile to write this review because I honestly don’t have too much to say. Unfortunately, Veronica Roth didn’t improve upon Insurgent‘s mistakes in Allegiant. While I didn’t hate the ending as much as most people did, I still felt like the whole book was just mediocre and didn’t live up to the hype started by the first book.
Most cats love laps, but not the kind you do in a pool. But yesterday I saw some gifs on Tumblr of a cat happily swimming in a bathtub (see below). I thought it was SO CUTE, so I decided to look for some more cats who aren’t afraid to get their feet wet. There aren’t too many it seems, but here are some I found:
As I posted yesterday, I was nominated for a Liebster Award. Now I’m passing on the love to some other bloggers who I think are just as deserving of the award. Unsurprisingly, most of them are book bloggers. They are:
Big thanks to Lisa at The Most Happy for nominating me for a Liebster award! She has an excellent blog, so I’m very happy and humbled that she chose mine to share. It’s my first blogging award, so now I feel like an official blogger! In order to accept the award I must share 11 facts about myself, answer 11 questions from Lisa, and nominate 5–11 others. Sounds like fun!
1. I am a twin! I have a twin sister, but no, we aren’t identical. And I’m a minute older than her.
Have you ever wondered why decorated eggs are such a big deal at Easter? What do hard-boiled eggs have to do with the resurrection of Christ? And why is a rabbit bringing them?! Well, the answer is actually pretty interesting.
It’s finally starting to feel like Spring in Michigan, which means I’m spending all of my free time soaking up the sunshine. It’s times like these when I get jealous of cats, who can just sprawl out in any patch of sunlight and absorb the warmth. My cat could squeeze himself into pretty much any space (the windowsill, a box on the floor) just to catch a ray. So, in honor of the beautiful weather, here are 10 cats who will brighten up your Caturday:
Couldn’t wake him up if you tried.
Finally, the last day of the 30-Day Book Challenge! It took me a little more than 30 days, but I finished it, and that’s what matters. It was a great way to motivate myself to post every day. Hopefully I can still post regularly now that it’s over! I must admit that some of the prompts were a bit boring and repetitive, but overall it encouraged me to revisit books I have read and think deeply about them.
